Overview

Students undertake the Bachelor of Engineering Pre-Major in their first year at Curtin Perth Campus and, on successful completion, proceed in their second year to one of the following Engineering disciplines:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil and Construction Engineering
  • Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Industrial and Systems Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronic Engineering
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Mining Engineering
  • Software Systems Engineering

Engineering Foundation Year equips students to make a decision about their discipline Major prior to, or at the completion of, the Bachelor of Engineering Pre-Major.

For Metallurgical Engineering and Mining Engineering majors, part of this course will be undertaken at the prestigious Western Australian School of Mines (WASM) in Kalgoorlie.
