Overview

This course will enable you to apply the latest scientific knowledge and technologies to design state of the art structures. The course includes a sound introduction to and in-depth study of the Architectural Engineering principles and analysis techniques. You will gain the expertise required to incorporate the latest energy conservation methodologies and construction technologies required to build resilient buildings and sustainable cities.

This degree places emphasis on creative and sustainable designs as well as elements of other engineering disciplines, including building services, project management and structural engineering. Throughout the course you will focus on practical applications and case studies with ample scope to undertake real world projects in the workplace and community.

As a graduate, you will be at the forefront of addressing major Engineering challenges of the 21st century.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics.

Architectural Engineering, Architecture.
