Overview

As a professional chemical engineer, you design, operate and manage the processes that transform materials into everyday products in key areas such as oil and gas, minerals processing, plastics, food processing and pharmaceuticals manufacturing.

Your studies will provide a sound base of fundamental engineering principles, followed by advanced specialist knowledge of the theory and practice of chemical engineering. The course specifically offers extensive hands on practical experience, which will help you in your future career as a professional engineer.

In addition to the specific chemical engineering knowledge, essential engineering skills including innovation, creativity, research, management, teamwork and leadership are features of the course.

This course was developed in consultation with and is supported by industry leaders. You graduate with a sound foundation of engineering knowledge which directly aligns with international industry requirements.
