In addition to providing training in conventional mechanical engineering subjects, the course structure will introduce you to areas of study that address sustainability, including sustainable design and sustainable energy engineering. Our graduates have broad-based skills that meet the demand of Australian industries and are conscious of the need to promote sustainable design and practices.
Successful applicants for advanced standing in Engineering (Honours) courses may be required to travel between different Western Sydney University campuses to complete elements of their course.
Biomedical engineering, computer-aided design and automation, mechanical engineering.
Designing and developing machinery (including in the transport, manufacturing and mining industries), designing mechanical equipment, working in energy production, marketing and management activities. Skills gained are required in industries such as manufacturing, materials handling, automotive, aerospace, mining, building services, infrastructure development.
