Overview

This program equips students with the technical knowledge and skills to practise as graduate engineering technologists. Students benefit from hands-on experience, work with professional equipment and learn the highly sought-after skills they need to be successful in the engineering industry. Emphasis is placed on learning through project work and engaging with industry specialists to promote learning practical knowledge. Prerequisites

Majors

Toowoomba or external: agricultural engineering; civil engineering; electrical and electronic engineering; environmental engineering; infrastructure management engineering; mechanical engineering. Springfield: civil engineering; electrical and electronic engineering; infrastructure management engineering; mechanical engineering.

Potential Career Outcomes

Depending on specialisation: with engineering consultants, government agencies, companies associated with mining, resources, farming, agricultural products, construction, research and development, manufacturing, processing, information technology, materials testing, process supervision, technology management.
