Flinders University - Bedford Park Campus
The course encompasses a wide range of communication mediums including radar, radio and microwaves. A particular focus will be placed on technologies that adopt these in conjunction with studies in signal processing, infrared imaging systems, multi-spectral sensing, satellite communications, computer networks and telecommunications. It includes placements and projects in collaboration with the government and defence industry but with applicability well beyond defence
Professionals in this area work in a variety of organisations including defence, telecommunications, computer and information security. In addition, because graduates obtain degrees in both engineering and physics, all graduate options available to electronic engineers and physicists are also available.
