This degree focuses on how to manage the interaction between people and the environment to ensure ecological, social and economic sustainability. Graduates have the skills and knowledge in the physical, biological and social sciences needed to restore damaged environments and create healthy and resilient ecosystems.
Environmental science, including conservation biology, earth science, ecology, environmental issues, human interactions with the environment, Indigenous and cultural heritage, international issues, sustainable development, vegetation ecology, water resource management, wildlife management and environmental impact assessment.
Environmental or natural resource scientist, ecologist, environmental consultant, protected area manager, national parks and wildlife ranger, wildlife specialist, catchment manager, Landcare coordinator, nature conservation specialist, fisheries officer.
