Overview

In this double degree, you will learn about key sustainability issues, such as energy, water and waste management, and develop an appreciation of the interrelationships between environmental sustainability and business success. Throughout the degree, you will examine the sustainable use of our natural environment, and graduate with the skills and knowledge needed to find sustainable solutions for business and industry. You’ll also choose from a broad array of commercial business majors, allowing you to specialise in the discipline which interests you most. Environmental science: ecology and conservation; environmental management; soil and water science; urban environments. Business: accounting; Asian business; Asian engagement; behavioural science; business analytics; economics; employment relations; events; finance; financial planning; human resource management; innovation and entrepreneurship; international business; logistics and supply chain management; management; marketing; political science and international relations; real estate and property development; sport management; sustainable business; taxation; tourism and travel.

Depending on the majors selected, you’ll be prepared for career opportunities in research, government, non-government agencies, engineering and environmental consultancies, data collation and evaluation, administration, advertising, business and strategic management, planning and policy, and sales and marketing. You’ll find work in positions such as environmental consultant, management facilitator, project officer or information management officer.
