Overview

Make a difference to the health and fitness of athletes and the community with the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences. Students will benefit from strong connections with industry that see CQU's course material taught by experienced lecturers with relevant and current experience in exercise and sport sciences. Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to complete authentic practical experiences and complete four placements with organisations where students apply their discipline knowledge to specific scenarios.

This course equips students with practical skills in the various disciplines relevant to exercise and sport sciences. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of the processes and mechanisms of the human body as they relate to exercise and sport science and have the flexibility to pursue an area of interest, with a choice of minor studies. Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 26 in any English.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 26 in any English.
