Overview

Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people pursuing undergraduate study now have unparalleled access into a range of globally recognised degrees at Monash University. The Indigenous Entry Scheme offers applicants admission to the degrees with a significantly lower Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) requirement. There are no special classes, extra requirements or time added to the course for students admitted under the Indigenous Entry Scheme and students will graduate with the same Monash degree as any other student.

In the Bachelor of Fine Art, you will be guided by some of Australia’s leading artists and practitioners and have access to dedicated art spaces and specialist equipment to develop your own visual language to create an art practice of relevance and value to contemporary culture. Hands-on and studio-based, you will build your skills and knowledge across a range of mediums in the 1st year to then specialise in your medium of choice in your 2nd year.
