Immerse yourself in creative practice and develop your independent voice with the Bachelor of Fine Arts. This degree includes distinct and focussed specialisations from which you can choose: Animation and Moving Image, Art Theory, Music (including performance, composition, sonic arts, and pedagogy), and Visual Arts. You’ll learn from experts who will build your technical skills and knowledge in practical and theoretical classes. Your career will be developed though the strong industry links that are embedded in all our specialisations.

The UNSW Bachelor of Arts has a flexible program structure, you’ll be able to combine your passion with your purpose – by deepening your understanding of the world and honing the skillset that opens you up to an exciting range of industries and jobs.

Choose study options across the humanities and social sciences, including English, criminology, history, languages, media, philosophy, politics and international relations, and sociology. And no matter what disciplines you choose, you’ll practice critical-thinking, explore creative problem-solving, learn how to communicate clearly and effectively, and conduct your own research.
