Overview

Become a leader in driving social change. With the Bachelor of Global Studies, you’ll learn how to critically analyse global challenges facing cultures and communities, and develop innovative solutions. You’ll apply your knowledge and skills to real life scenarios through leadership, culture and globalisation core units; an overseas study component; and a choice of four specialisations: Intercultural studies, Human rights, International relations, and International studies.

You can access Monash’s Flagship Rich Educational Experiences including the Global Immersion Guarantee, an opportunity to spend two weeks studying at an international destination where airfares and accommodation are covered.

Led by its own Industry Advisory Board, this course is uniquely positioned to draw on the advice and perspectives of industry experts with direct links to business, government and the social sector. A range of internship and industry experience opportunities are also available.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 (or Year 12 equivalent).
