Overview


In our Bachelor of Health Information Management, you’ll explore the clinical and business sides of healthcare. You’ll develop a comprehensive skillset in clinical classification, data analytics, health informatics and health systems management.

You’ll then deepen your technical and professional expertise through 55 days of supervised professional placement over three placement experiences. With the perfect blend of expertise and experience, you’ll graduate ready to work in all areas of healthcare.

You can select from on-campus to online study – or a combination of both. Recognition of prior industry-specific experience may be available for eligible applicants.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in one of Biology, Chemistry, any Mathematics, Physical Education or Physics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
