Overview

Be qualified to pursue a diverse career in health, focusing on how food and nutrition impacts the health of individuals, families, communities and industry.

Our combined Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Nutrition degree prepares you for roles in food research, dietetic studies, food and health policy, or individual or community nutrition strategies, and public health.

In addition to online studies, you will complete 100 days of work-integrated learning mastering supported, relevant practical projects in food service, nutrition communication, as well as a nutrition project and research.

Our Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Nutrition graduates find work in nutrition-focused areas such as food and nutrition policy, food industry, community health organisations, acute care settings, or in public health and health promotion.

Our Health Science/Nutrition course offers international study opportunities and welcomes both First Nations and international students with dedicated support services on hand to support you through your degree.

As a graduate of our Health Science/ Nutrition degree you will be eligible to apply for accreditation as an 'Associate Nutritionist' with the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA). After 3 years of relevant work experience, you are eligible to apply for accreditation as a `Nutritionist'. You may also apply for membership with the Australian Health Promotion Association and the Public Health Association of Australia.
