Overview

The Bachelor of Health Sciences is a flexible course that gives students exposure to a wide variety of health professions and a broad understanding of the health care system. The degree equips you with transferable skills and experience in a multidisciplinary environment, providing a strong foundation to transfer to a range of clinical and allied health specialities and for future endeavours in the healthcare industry. Students are able to pursue majors including disability and community rehabilitation, health promotion, health management, life sciences, environmental and public health, therapy studies, public health, and nutrition.Depending on which major students choose, some examples of potential occupations include health promotion officer, drug diversion assessor, community health officer, clinical trials study assistant, policy officer or health and aged care support worker.
