Overview

Through this dual program, students explore human movement and nutrition across the lifespan and discover the roles that food, physical activity, exercise and sleep play in our health, the prevention of chronic disease, and sporting performance, while gaining a deep understanding of a broad range of concepts relevant across the business world, studying topics including accounting, economics, leadership, marketing, business information systems and strategy. During their business management studies, students hear from industry guest lecturers, examine real-life case studies, and undertake projects, placements and internships with leading businesses, gaining the skills to confidently lead people and projects. This dual program provides a broad range of employment pathways, including entrepreneurship and sports management. Graduates frequently combine a Bachelor of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences / Bachelor of Business Management with a postgraduate qualification to specialise in non-clinical or clinical areas such as dietetics, medical practice and physiotherapy.
