Overview

In this degree, you’ll apply your passion for creative design and production through the lens of advanced manufacturing. Under the guidance of our industry experienced teaching staff, you'll gain insight and expertise in design, materials, process technology and practice within a global context. You’ll use cutting-edge advanced manufacturing technologies combined with traditional and sustainable manufacturing processes. This degree will ensure you are able to manage the entire product life cycle from design to production and beyond. You’ll graduate equipped with the skills, language and know-how of both design and manufacturing, giving you a competitive skill set highly valued by industry. You'll learn to push the boundaries of existing and emerging industries, creating products that consider social, environmental and economic factors to improve people’s lives. Through a range of practical experiences, craft-based approaches, and the latest developments in 3D printing, digital modelling, electronics, programming and more, you’ll graduate ready to create and innovate across healthcare, aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, and fashion - among other industries. Potential Career Outcomes

You’ll be prepared for work as an industrial designer, innovator, product designer, entrepreneur, creative designer-maker, designer for medical applications, or in automotive or digital fashion.
