Overview

In our Bachelor of Information Technology, you’ll gain hands-on skills across programming, networking, databases, systems analysis and design, and project management. You’ll also be able to choose a major in areas aligned to future industry growth, including artificial intelligence, cloud analytics, cybersecurity, network engineering or information systems.

What’s more, you’ll have opportunities for real-world experience with our industry partners, including Microsoft, CISCO, Oracle, Optus and Pivot Maritime International.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Artificial intelligence (Melbourne campus), Cloud analytics (Melbourne, Online and Sydney campuses), Data Science (Melbourne Campus), Information systems (Melbourne campus), Network engineering (Melbourne campus), Software engineering (Bendigo, Melbourne, Online and Sydney campuses).
