Offered through La Trobe's Bachelor of Information Technology, you'll learn how to use cloud-based analytic algorithms to identify patterns and extract insights from data. You'll examine the different analytics tools and explore how you can leverage their capabilities. Through this, you'll learn how to analyse huge amounts of data to inform decision-making and enhance collaboration.

La Trobe's Bachelor of Information Technology gives you hands-on skills across programming, networking, databases, systems analysis and design, and project management. You’ll be able to choose a major in areas aligned to future industry growth, including artificial intelligence, cloud analytics, data science, network engineering, software engineering or information systems.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
