Offered through La Trobe's Bachelor of Information Technology, you'll learn how to design, develop and use the latest technologies to gain a competitive edge. You'll explore subjects such as programming environments, digital branding and retailing, digital business, supply chain analytics, blockchains and cryptocurrencies.

La Trobe's Bachelor of Information Technology gives you hands-on skills across programming, networking, databases, systems analysis and design, and project management. You’ll be able to choose a major in areas aligned to future industry growth, including artificial intelligence, cloud analytics, data science, network engineering, software engineering or information systems.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Majors

Information systems.
