Students will study the future directions of business information systems through a major thesis along with a selection of computer, science, engineering and mathematics option topics. On completion this degree graduates will be well placed to act as the bridge between the business needs of an organisation and the computing professionals required to provide technical solutions.
This degree provides graduates with practical experience that prepares them for the workforce, by developing all the necessary applied and practical skills for a career in IT. There is the opportunity to gain first-hand industry experience with a 12-week industry placement, and students can focus on skills in written and oral presentation, professionalism and teamwork for important vocational capabilities.
The Honours year includes a major thesis focussed on business information systems as well as a selection of computer, science, engineering and mathematics option topics.
