On completion of the degree students will be able to competently use professional skills and knowledge in the systematic development of complex networked information systems and demonstrate a broad understanding of the information technology and network systems disciplines.
This degree prepares graduates to be able to design implement, maintain and manage networked computer systems. Potential occupations may include network engineer, cloud applications net developer and information technology security analyst.; potential employers may include information technology services, educational institutions and the defence industry.
This degree is accredited by the Australian Computer Society at the professional level and is recognised internationally under the Seoul Accord.
