Gain industry ready knowledge and skills through extensive work integrated learning with IBM® in Ballarat where you will gain exposure to a globally integrated enterprise, allowing you to obtain experience in the breadth and depth of real world IT project delivery.

In the final two years, you'll receive a scholarship as you study and complete your internship - valued at up to $42,000.

This degree has been recognised as national best practice by the Australian Computer Society, and gives you the opportunity to seek employment with IBM®* or another of our industry sponsors upon completion.

Other IT specialisations include Big Data and Analytics, Business Information Systems, Cloud and Enterprise Computing, Games Development, Mobile App Development, Networking and Security and Software Development, or you may choose to keep your options open with a Bachelor of Information Technology, with no specific specialisation, offering a wide variety of graduate outcomes.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 1 and 2: satisfactory completion in two units (any study combination) of Maths: General Mathematics, Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics or Units 3 and 4: any Mathematics; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any English.
