Overview

This degree provides you with a core in international business and the opportunity to complete an optional major.

The international business core develops your knowledge and skills in international economics, finance, management and marketing.

The ability to complete an optional major allows you to study a specific business discipline, a language, international relations or a range of other disciplines. Alternatively, you can choose to complete up to eight elective subjects, including an international study tour or a semester of study at an international partner university.

Business studies cover accounting, finance, economics, human resource management, sustainability, strategic management, entrepreneurship and marketing. You'll approach these subjects from a global perspective, looking at the social, cultural and institutional influences on international business – for example, you'll examine the role of multilateral treaties and institutions such as the United Nations system.
