Overview

International relations is about the 'big picture'. It deals with matters of power, authority, conflict and cooperation.

Why combine International Relations with Arts? Arts complements this area perfectly, offering diverse studies in social, historical and cultural fields. By partnering the two, you'll maximise both your employability and your understanding of the world around us.

What will you do? Choose from South Australia's widest range of arts majors; examine how and why the world is changing today; understand global players and foreign policy; identify creative solutions to complex problems; build advanced research, analysis and communication skills.

Why combine International Relations with Economics? The forces of influence and change in the world are complex. Politics and economics require international cooperation and experts who can assess large-scale decisions. The combination contextualises economics within major social and political issues in international relations. The two areas come together in exciting, diverse and rewarding careers at local and global levels.

What will you do? Examine how and why the world is changing around us; learn about globalisation and foreign policy; explore economic laws and theories at all levels; build skills in mathematics, statistics and data analysis; master creative problem-solving, decision-making and communication.
