Potential Career Outcomes

As a graduate, you will have the fundamental business skills and industry knowledge required to meet the demands of Australia's international tourism and hotel management industries and the marketing and economic development organisations that operate at state, national and international levels. You’ll be prepared for work in a range of international tourism and hotel management roles, including in hotel and resort groups and the accommodation sector; in independent restaurants and internationally recognised chains; with entertainment and leisure providers such as theme parks; with suppliers of goods and services to the hospitality industry; in airlines; and with local, state and federal tourism and regional planning authorities. Depending on your major, you could find opportunities in advertising and marketing, business management, human resources and people management, market research, event management, international hotel and resort groups, campaign management, real estate and property management. You'll have the business and entrepreneurial acumen to run your own business, as well as find opportunities in a range of sport management and sports tourism arenas.
