Overview
This course prepares you as a graduate for a variety of careers in security, law enforcement and intelligence agencies, policing, corrections, juvenile justice, indigenous justice, social policy, public service, and criminal justice related occupations including customs. In first year, you complete a variety of core foundation units covering professional criminological research skills, criminal justice systems, policing, justice, forensic psychology, policy governance, and social justice. You then focus your studies by completing a primary major in either criminology and policing, or policy and politics, and eight additional units of study. Graduates are experienced in research methods, group work, problem-solving, critical thinking, and policy analysis skills.
