Overview

The Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business is a multidisciplinary qualification designed to enable students to gain entry into the legal profession combined with business knowledge and skills.
Students will learn about legal procedures and key legislation while developing the skills necessary to identify, analyse and evaluate facts in relation to legal frameworks. With a choice of seven business disciplines to major in, students will develop a well-rounded foundation in business and gain transferrable skills that are highly desired by employers. Students can choose to major in accounting, financial planning, human resource management, management, marketing, or property.

Choosing to study this double degree will put students on the cutting edge of law and business with the appropriate skills to carry you forward into the careers of the future.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 26 in any English.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 26 in any English.

Accounting, Financial Planning, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Property.

Potential Career Outcomes

The Bachelor of Laws prepares graduates for a career as a legal professional. Aside from the traditional roles as a solicitor, barrister or in-house counsel, a law degree is useful for careers in academia, business, the public service and politics. Depending on your major in the Bachelor of Business, you will be qualified to work in marketing, general management, human resource management, public relations, property, or accounting.
