Overview

As the study of the causes of crime and society’s response through the justice system, criminology is of natural interest to criminal lawyers. In this degree, you’ll combine your studies of law with studies in criminology and criminal justice to give you a holistic view and thorough understanding of the intersection between crime and the law. You’ll develop academic and professional knowledge along with the analytical and practical skills you need for a career in law, criminology and criminal justice. You’ll also gain a strong understanding of the complex environments in which crime occurs, and the changing nature of the legal responses that must be applied.
