Overview

This course prepares you to be a practical and industry-ready engineer, capable of designing the electronics, robots and autonomous systems of the future. You will learn how to design, program and integrate electronic devices with mechanical designs that communicate with other computers, devices or even cloud-based systems. You will be able to deliver innovative solutions to real-world problems and design autonomous and intelligent devices ranging from self-driving vehicles to biomedical systems.

Throughout this course you will have opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies using the facilities in our multi-million-dollar engineering precinct, including state-of-the-art mechatronics, manufacturing robotics and IoT systems. Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites
