The media industry is a globally dynamic, technology-driven industry that thrives on creativity and knowledge. Our graduates go on to exciting media careers in a range of industries, including journalism, film, digital games and social media. Our degree keeps pace with a rapidly changing media environment. You will develop professional-level and industry relevant skills and knowledge through our core courses such as Digital Storytelling and Digital Platforms, Media Policy and Media Law, and Writing for News Media. As well as working with industry to design courses, we provide you with the opportunity to work in professional media organisations and gain real world experiences. Our media internships provide an employment edge by allowing you to gain applied industry experience. Our Transforming Journalism course allows you to read the news live on air in Australia's oldest community radio station, with a monthly audience of over 140,000 listeners. Take your studies global and immerse yourself in the unique media cultures of Japan through our Japanese study tour in Kyoto.
