As a graduate, you'll be able to use techniques such as x-ray, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and computed tomography (CT) to produce high-quality images that are then used to diagnose, manage and treat an injury or disease.
Following foundation studies, you build skills using specialist equipment for digital radiography, general x-ray, mobile x-ray, mammography and dental.
You also develop competency in computer systems and software that is used throughout industry.
You complete extensive professional placement in hospitals and private imaging facilities.
The honours component is embedded in the course and provides you with a strong foundation in research skills and critical thinking. You study a series of topics in preparation for a research project, which is part of the final year.
The QUT Offer Guarantee and Year 12 Subject Adjustment Scheme do not apply to this course.
