University of Western Australia - Crawley
Pursue your passions and maximise your career options with our combined bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Arts. You’ll graduate with two degrees in just four years, a Bachelor of Modern Languages with a major in one language and a minor in a second language, and up to two majors in the Bachelor of Arts.
Why study this course?
In a competitive employment market, you will maximise your career options by developing proficiencies in two languages. Combining this with the Arts will equip you to think holistically, developing an enhanced awareness of relationships – with yourself, others and the world. You will graduate with two qualifications, having cut two years off the time it takes you to study two degrees. If you decide either degree isn't right for you, you can exit one and complete the other.
UWA’s unique Bachelor of Modern Languages enables you to achieve a high level of competency in one language and functional levels of competency in a second language in the four macro skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
Combine this with a Bachelor of Arts where you will cultivate your passions while developing career-ready transferable skills that are essential in every industry and can never be automated – they’ll set you apart from the competition and prepare you for a future-proof career.
