You’ll graduate with two degrees in just four years, a Bachelor of Modern Languages with a major in one language and a minor in a second language, and a Bachelor of Science where you’ll choose from a wide range of options.

You will graduate with two qualifications, having cut two years off the time it takes you to study two degrees. If you decide either degree isn't right for you, you can exit one and complete the other.
What will I learn?
UWA’s unique Bachelor of Modern Languages enables you to achieve a high level of competency in one language and functional levels of competency in a second language in the four macro skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
Discipline areas in the Bachelor of Science range from cutting-edge pure and applied science to new multidisciplinary fields of science. Acquiring the communication and research skills embedded throughout each major, you will be well prepared for many diverse and exciting careers.
You will combine one major and minor from the Bachelor of Modern Languages as well as one major from the Bachelor of Science.
Students graduating with a Bachelor's of Modern Languages and Bachelor of Science are well placed for the job market. Their knowledge of two languages other than English, paired with a strong background in communication and research will open pathways to a large variety of industries in Australia and internationally.
