Overview

This graduate degree package allows you to attain an undergraduate qualification in the Bachelor of Music and a Masters-level qualification in the Juris Doctor (Law).  It guarantees high-achieving students a Commonwealth Supported Place or International Fee Place in the Juris Doctor.

No minimum weighted average mark (WAM) is required in the Bachelor of Music to progress to the Juris Doctor and applicants are not required to sit the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). Students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Music will automatically progress to the Juris Doctor.

Students will study the Bachelor of Music at the Southbank and Parkville campuses and the Juris Doctor at the Parkville campus. 

The Juris Doctor is only available full time.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Majors

Composition, Ethnomusicology, Interactive composition, Jazz & Improvisation, Music performance, Musicology.
