Nursing is the science of professional caring. It offers opportunities to promote and restore health, prevent illness and alleviate suffering.
In this degree, you’ll develop the key knowledge and skills required to provide excellent nursing care. You’ll develop your skills through clinical placements across the health sector and you may have the opportunity to undertake rural, remote and overseas placements. You will learn from leading experts in this degree with Griffith ranked #1 in Australia and #2 in the world for Nursing and Midwifery, following the release of the 2020 Shanghai Ranking of World Universities. This degree involves studies both on and off campus, and clinical experience in a variety of nursing practice situations, including hospitals and community settings. Graduates are eligible to apply for admission to Griffith’s specialised nursing postgraduate programs.
Students can take this program part-time but attendance at day classes is generally required. Part-time students must be available full-time for professional placements.
