Overview

Designed in close association with industry, this course provides the essential skills and knowledge to become a registered nurse. Students learn in a broad range of contexts and with patients across the lifespan. They will also be able to think creatively and critically as a reflective and ethical practitioner, educator and facilitator. This course also provides an understanding of Indigenous Australian cultures, international and national perspectives of primary health care, law, mental health nursing, aged care nursing, family health care, chronic and acute care and much more.

Career opportunities

Career opportunities for experienced registered nurses will be available in the areas of management, education and research.
