Our Bachelor of Nutrition teaches you about the needs of the human body both in good health and in illness at the individual, community and population level. You will learn how to critically analyse, develop, implement and evaluate nutrition intervention programs that address nutritional issues.
Throughout the course you’ll get a solid understanding in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, nutritional policy, diet and disease. You’ll also study specialist subjects like public health nutrition and a special populations project, allowing you to gain valuable industry skills.
The Bachelor of Nutrition leverages graduates for a role in promoting nutritional wellbeing. There is an increasing demand for skilled and certified nutritionists for roles in health settings such as hospitals, health clinics and aged care facilities, or take a role in promoting nutritional health and wellbeing across various media.
