Overview

Become a leader in occupational therapy and help others maximise their physical and mental health and wellbeing. The course provides students with an underpinning knowledge in professional practice, human body systems, psychology and contemporary health care. The education and training includes occupational therapy units covering a wide range of practice contexts, and develops skills in areas such as assessment, service development, evaluation and critical thinking, enabling students to graduate work ready. The course has a strong focus on practical learning experiences and students benefit from industry placements across a range of practice areas, including the purpose-built Allied Health Clinic at CQUniversity Rockhampton.
