The Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation is a unique 3 year undergraduate degree designed to meet the growing demand in Western Australia for qualified individuals to work in the recreation, education and adventure tourism sectors. The program will develop key outdoor skills to empower students to build the relationship between humans and the natural environment to promote sustainability. With a blend of theoretical and practical competence built upon professional standards in outdoor leadership the program is delivered in an array of natural environments. Pursuits include sailing, white water kayaking, sea kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling, bushwalking and mountain biking. Students will develop the ability to design, plan and implement safe outdoor programs. Additional areas of study included: Science, Sports Science, Health Promotion, Business and Counselling.
