Overview

This is a four-year Honours version of the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science for high-achieving students who want to pursue Honours studies and gain greater experience in conducting pharmaceutical research.

You will have all the benefits of the Pharmaceutical Science course, and then your studies will culminate in an Honours research program, designed to extend your knowledge and skills, and embed you in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative research team. During this year of the course, you will be able to demonstrate your initiative and intellectual independence through data or lab-based research.

As an Honours qualification, it also provides direct access to higher degrees by research and enables you to complete an expert Masters course in a reduced timeframe.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in Chemistry; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 (or Year 12 equivalent).
