Overview

If you are expecting excellent results in Year 12 and you wish to study Pharmacy then this program is for you. The course is designed to prepare students for the inevitable expansion of the role that pharmacists will play as part of the healthcare team. Students gain a thorough grasp of scientific disciplines and the key skills that make a great pharmacist. 

It provides all of the benefits of the five-year Pharmacy double degree course leading to both a Bachelor and a Masters degree and adds exclusive learning opportunities. These include extra academic and professional networking opportunities through events and seminars and (if you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa) a Dean's scholarship.

Note: this course is only available to high achieving applicants with a Year 12 qualification.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in Chemistry; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 (or Year 12 equivalent).
