University of Wollongong - Wollongong
Understand the how and why of who we are and how we think, feel, act, and change in the context of today's business environment when you study psychological science and business at UOW. You will scientifically study the human mind and its functions, and how they influence behaviour as you develop real world, in-demand business skills. Enhancing your educational, academic and professional qualifications, double degrees allow you to gain two degrees at once, minimising both the time commitment and cost of your studies. What underlies the physiological, sensory and cognitive processes of the human experience? How can this knowledge be applied in a business or workplace context? On completion, you will be able to answer these questions and more as you enter a global job market with competitive skills, education and experience.
You'll benefit by learning from recognised and passionate leaders in their fields in this degree for the highly motivated. You will learn core fundamental knowledge across both disciplines in the first year of your degree before deciding which business major to focus on from the second year. You will learn how the science and practice of psychology is influenced by social, historical, professional and cultural contexts, and learn about marketing, finance, accounting and management.
Throughout this double degree, you will gain hands-on experience and make meaningful professional connections across the broader field using integrated learning methods. You will gain a partial qualification for provisional registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and be provided a route to Postgraduate coursework or research degrees in Psychology when you complete your Bachelor of Psychological Science.
