Overview

Psychology is the study of mind and behaviour. In this degree course students examine the behaviour of people as individuals and as groups, how they react to the world around them, how they learn and how they develop. It is a general applied psychology program, emphasising the application of knowledge to problems arising in professional practice. It provides a thorough understanding of the theoretical framework within which various approaches and techniques have been developed. Experimental design relevant to applied research is an important part of the course work. Opportunities for inter-professional learning will take place across the course.
