Overview

With Charles Sturt University’s Bachelor of Psychology, students explore the potential of the human mind.   You will study topics including learning, cognitive, abnormal, developmental, social, personality and biological psychology.  This degree also provides opportunities for students to develop critical thinking, research and communication skills. 

This is also a steppingstone to the further study and training required to become a registered psychologist. 

Course contents for the first three years are identical to B Social Science (Psychology). There is an established transfer pathway between B Social Science (Psychology) and B Psychology.

Career opportunities

Counsellor, human services worker, research assistant. Further study and training is required to pursue your career as a registered psychologist.
