Overview

Study South Australia's only undergraduate degree in cognitive neuroscience and graduate with honours. Investigate the neural underpinnings of human cognition and behaviour by combining courses in biology and psychology. Explore human brain function and how it is impacted by social and developmental factors through a range of courses in psychology theory, cognitive neuroscience, anatomy and physiology.

Gain practical experience in the state-of-the-art Centre for Cognitive and Systems Neuroscience and the Cognitive Ageing and Impairment Neurosciences Laboratory located on campus, along with a range of placement opportunities. Complete advanced coursework and a supervised research project in your final year focusing on a specific area of interest.

Graduate with a degree accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and be eligible for membership with the Australian Psychological Society. Continue your studies through the Master of Psychology (Clinical) to become an accredited clinical psychologist.

Careers: Cognitive neuroscientist, behavioural scientist, clinical laboratory technician, clinical laboratory manager, cognitive research scientist, cognitive and analytics consultant, data analyst, human resources adviser, clinical psychologist, organisational psychologist, clinical neuropsychologist or researcher (with further study).
