The Bachelor of Public Health Bachelor of Sustainability and Environment is a flexible and innovative degree that equips graduates with qualifications to make a difference across diverse health settings. This course focuses on sustainability in practice, ecological health impacts and planetary health, and emphasises the social model of health, which extends to sustainability as a social, environmental and economic challenge.
There is a focus on learning how to use and interpret scientific evidence and data to drive innovation and improvement. Students have opportunities to work with industry and community partners to respond to real-world issues and gain valuable experience, both in class and through a professional placement.

Careers are usually determined by the professional degree and span roles in industry, science, public and private sectors, academia and business including community development, research and consultancy. Roles include sustainability project officer, sustainability consultant, environmental scientist, sustainability director, social and environmental impact lead, corporate social responsibility manager, communication and stakeholder engagement lead, business analyst, environmental compliance specialist, environmental planner, sustainability evaluation lead, health scientist.
