Overview

Students of this course have the potential to undertake key roles in private industry, research organisations and government departments.

By studying science and business management, you'll have the technical skills required of a practising scientist and the business skills to be an effective manager and leader – a highly attractive combination for employers.

Your management degree gives you a broad knowledge base of business management, and the applied science component allows you to specialise in one of four majors, allowing you the flexibility to create a unique degree.

In your first year, you'll explore core science concepts across physical, life, data and mathematical science disciplines and undertake foundations courses in accounting and management. You can then choose to major in biological sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, or physics while completing the required business management courses. Your final year of study may include an industry-linked science project.
