This course allows students to develop applied and job-ready skills via comprehensive laboratory practical's, and is a great foundational basis for exploring further study in medicine. Students learn the integration of modern high throughput data processing skills to become well-versed with cutting-edge laboratory technologies.
The Honours year in Life Sciences provides students with advanced skills that are required for planning, funding and carrying out research projects. The degree aims to develop a range of transferable research, analytical and communication skills including the capacity to understand and apply relevant scientific principles.
On completion of the Honours degree students, students will be able to apply research skills appropriate to postgraduate research or advanced health and industrial investigations.
