Overview

This course is available if you are a currently Registered Nurse in Australia and hold a Diploma of Nursing. You can complete this program to upgrade your educational qualifications to a Bachelor of Science (Nursing). Opportunities for inter-professional learning will take place across the course.

The program takes the study of biological and behavioural sciences that underpin nursing to greater depth. You will explore nursing research ethics, professional practice, management, bioscience, behavioural science and inter-professional education, to assist you to actively contribute to providing care as a member of an inter-professional healthcare team. A problem-solving approach is encouraged, with particular focus on identifying and assessing health problems, and the nursing needs of individuals and their families.
